When I first met Gail Green, I knew immediately that she was warm, down-to-earth, and unflappably positive, all of which are welcome qualities in a leadership and management coach. What took me longer to realize is that she’s also deceptively sophisticated in her understanding of interpersonal dynamics and what makes healthy teams and leaders. The exercises, worksheets, and charts she has shared with me—and mind you, I’m not instinctively a lover of any of these—and our many conversations crystallized certain dynamics that have bearing not only my professional work but my personal life as well, since the two are always so intertwined.
