Coaching for Results
What makes a great coach? We often look to sports to see the coaches that can pull the best out of their teams. It's not always a natural talent. It's often a learned skill built upon repetitive action that connects clear results from the desire to achieve them.
Coaching for Results is a 1-2 day workshop that delivers the tools for getting results from your reports using Performance Reviews. Our approach is 3-tiered: learn how to be the example of what you are coaching, how to inspire the results you are after, and how to make the connection so that your reports will listen to what you have to say. The workshop focuses on:
- Understanding the 4 styles of learning
- Modifying your approach to pull the best out of each person individually
- Learning and practicing a 3-step coaching model:
Connect - Discover - Respond
- Establishing checkpoints to ensure progress
- Learning to "course correct," increase accountability and find solutions together
- Working through challenging interactions, emotions and resistances
- Discovering tools you can use daily to strengthen the connection between people and their results
- Practicing coaching scenarios, conflicting interests and typical challenges; with feedback
